Outer space made that game a lot less fantasy and a lot more science fiction. _________________ ---------------Projects----

"Final Science Fiction" just doesn't sound as good though. |

Tales of Phantasia is a very good game. If you want to play it, Dejap has a patch that will translate a rom into English. It's really quite a shame that it never got officially localized (I remember seeing it in an old Nintendo Power magazine and being wowed by it -- that was when they called the game "Tale Phantasia" ) _________________

I think the greatest RPG character ever is Ex-Death from FFV. What a villain! His powerful background encompasses the greatest development of fear yet to be seen in any game-- even in any story! I am in awe of his greatness.
Only one RPG character has influenced my work:
Chu-Chu from Xenogears. What a brilliant, epic hero. Born of such an ignoble race, and yet she fights for justice and only justice! It is because of my beloved Chu-Chu that Jesus came about.
That is all. _________________ i kik azz play mah gaymz

Poodles, I love you.
My favorite character is Algus from FFT, but I don't really feel like explaining why. Bastards unite, whoo. |

The DeJap translation of ToP makes the characterization of Arche (horny half-elfen sorceress) and Klarth (womanizing male summoner who is somehow NOT a decrepit eighty year old bachelor). I mean: "Mint is good looking, but I bet Arche f***s like a tiger." _________________ UP DOWN UP DOWN LEFT LEFT RIGHT RIGHT A B START |

That is the best line I've heard in a long time. I must get this game now. |

DeJap took a crazy amount of liberties with that script, but they added some awesome stuff. Fuck Namco for saying RPGs don't sell in the US. |

Like the "Bud Lite" line? I laughed out loud at that one, but wondered what he was really supposed to say. (It probably wouldn't have been so interesting.) _________________
