I have just uploaded a walkaround type thing of the KW1 remake. PLease play and give feedback on what there is so far. I will pay ca$h for all cases of blindness due to this game.

disclaimer: That was a joke.

There's not much to give feedback on, but here goes:

The title screen is just ungood. Even if you are only using Paint, you could still make it much better, it's just a bit harder. The sprites aren't very good and there's no shading for depth. However, kudos on the grass tiles. They're really good.

The title screen is odd, the grass tiles are nothing special, the walkabout and battle pictures lack depth like Blazes said.

I wish people wouldn't announce games when they make a few little changes.

I just wanted people to see that this wouldn't be a horribility destined for the Ripley's meseum like Kidworld was.

They're also easy to make! Just set the airbrush really big and turn up the mist, then layer 3 shades of green until it's full.

Just SAYING that will make people like them infinitely less. I'm surprised it came out as good as it did, but remember that that method will NOT work almost all of the time. You should learn the real methods for making them, from that place (what was it? pixeltutorial.cjb.net? I'm too tired to look it up right now) or learn on your own.

Bah. I'd rather learn to do it on my own than take some tutorial and have it look like everyone else's.

What the hell are you talking about?
No, Link.

This isn't "MAKE URRa TILEZ LIKE THIS."
It's "Here are some cool techniques."

Quite frankly, you should really look. No, really. I'm serious. Your art is teh sux, and my art was once teh sux. Nowadays, my art's not teh sux. Take a guess.

Well, I must now thank MCW for letting me know about this site, so that I can actually make graphics, as opposed to carboard cut-outs. Oookay...

Thanks for going to the site before judging it, Link. Oh, wait a minute...

That is possibly the best site you'll find for stuff like that. It doesn't tell you how to do it in a specific style. But if your BEST style is 'spraying' the tile, you may as well have someone teach you their own style. But no, this site doesn't. Now, see how your sprites have no detail and are all single colors, and how they are worse than the ones you've seen in other games? The Pixel Tutorial talks about things such as 'detail, shading, and texture.' Check it out, it's well worth the ten minutes of your life.
