Hmm... I downloaded Mageclash and the graphics will not load. The bmps will, but not the gfx files...
I wonder whats up? Any ideas? |

| Did you leave them in the default directory (MAGE.ADV, I think)? If not, then you're sure to get errors on it. |

It hasn't been that long since I've played with Mageclash!
It's in the correct folder and everything... I'm thinking its just this PC. Its too new for this ol' skool stuffs I guess.
I played around with it a bit, but no success.
I'll just have to wait until I get home to take a trip down memory lane. Ah well.
Edit:
A more accurate description:
Backgrounds appear as 1 solid color and sprites appear as black (though the sprite transparency works). The menu is all black. |

Odd...
If you remember clearly, though, the backgrounds ARE one solid color. It's because we didn't have sprite transparency!
It could be a problem in loading the palette... OH, DUH. I forgot to include the font and palette files! Everyone who d/led Mageclash, please re-d/l it. I've actually tested the file this time. (Anyone familiar with my work knows how bad I am at testing things.) |

You're right!
But I thought we had transparency of sorts... ah wells. That musta been the Alpha stage Dark Basic one we were playing with. :p
