Thanks for the contest plug, guys. And because the design and implementation of this contest was about as extensive as making a contest game itself, I would appreciate as many people who are interested in making a game to join this because I'd like this to be worthwhile for everyone (including myself).
That and the fact that my decision to host another Epic Marathon next year will depend highly on the contestant turnout for this year.
So thanks for pointing it out to those who overlooked it.
Oh, and I think the wane in activity here is partly due to the Paradox Lounge closing down last October. I think people are discovering that they don't have much else to talk about now because there isn't anything said in OHR land that hasn't been said already at least five times before, and people like myself are tired of repeating ourselves (which is why I stopped writing articles), so we have no reason to shoot a dead horse that's already been kicked.
But that's just my opinion. I don't really care one way or another why the numbers are down. _________________ Progress Report:

| Also, I may add that some people that have contributed a lot to CP, have decided to post as much / at all because they feel they have no point to discuss matters on CP mainly because of "CP's" problems. And when I say problems, I mean how some of the people feel it is a waste of time due to spam, maybe they don't care as much, or that some people are becoming idiots or something, I really can't say for sure. It's a little sad, y'know? |
