It really isn't as simple as you've made it out to be, LeRoy_Leo. There is automatically a short delay between chain attacks. Though I actually misspoke about the jump thing. The problem with the dust under the hero when he jumps is not the delay between chain attacks. The problem is caused because the attack animation doesn't start until the hero has already jumped into the air. The delay between chain attacks causes problems in many other potential animations though.
