I was just thinking why do they call survivor a reality TV show since its not really realistic, eg. if you lost in some desert island will the local tribes people be there to give you food for performing stunts.
But to get back on track, i think the gameplay would probably not last for long and you would not want to play it twice unless you made a random events and characters to interacit with

Great idea. That would be hilarious. Stunts... Like a dance I guess.

Thanks for clearifying for it me, Fen.

And then God said, "Ouch! Plotscripting alert! Angels of OHR, battle stations!" And of course you're right. All this Survivor game talk is transforming the tread. Sorry. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

I was just reading this thread through for about the fifth time, and then it hit me that one of my current games has many of the properties discussed here.
But fear not, Survivor is nearly my least favorite TV program ever (what little TV I do watch), as are all the reality TV prgrams. The players are certainly NOT contestants in anything. I'm designing it so that I hope it will have far more replay value than normal (many different possible character combinations and few scripted events). _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Silly Lionhart. Emoticons are for kids!
heh. Elaborate a bit more on your oppinion? It is your topic. Tell us your view on what we are saying about reality show games.
On the other hand, I guess an emoticon is worth a thousand words.

I disagree. At most an emoticon is worth one word. Often less. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Well, if you really want to get into it, it depends on the context. An emoticon could be worth a thousand words, potentially, I suppose. _________________ My name is...

Okay, I really think that Leroy's idea about saving before the votings is a great one. You know, like in amazing race. maybe you can pick a new character after every pitstop. if your character gets eliminated, you can pick a new one again.
And.....
I think smileys are the shortcuts in saying things like, "I'm so happy!"
or "I am very angry!".
That would sound weird, right?
Plus, i think they're cool. [/i] _________________ The man who smiles when things go wrong has thought of someone to blame it on.
