well it'll be new and it'll have replay value, if that gamedoes have lots of replay value and you can't actually beat it will be worth a shot. I recommend having battle tornements and shops for WIZ and I's sake

I may not be a vet, but I would like to participate in this. Since I am not a vet, would it be okay if I was the villian (In a really weird way)? Or I could be one of those banned people like Shadow says. That would be kind of cool. Also, I think that if you can do this, do it. The plot should be about trouble in CP, and some guy from a foreign land comes to take CP over. Something like that. Just my input.

And Animal Crossing (R) would be an amazing engine if you could pull it off.

Very sorry if I made spelling mistakes in this posts... I am writing pretty fast.

The castle layout has been finalised and work on the combat systems has commenced . 2 floors of the dungeon have have been made and the 3rd has been started . One community member has been added . Please don't send me anything yet , we're still working . Oh and Eggie , we'll find a role for you .

I haven't been following this, but..

So basically, this is like OHR Battle by CCStacey? Featuring members of the community as heros, who all draw their own sprites? OHR battle was still updated a few times after it few out of the community eye, but I'm not sure if its quite dead yet..

No, it won't be like OHR Battle at all. The people making this game are actually planning it rather than just throwing people in for fun.

Wow, that's a first.

And I'd be willing to submit NPCs for myself whenever. If there is a certain style you'd like me to adhere too I'd do that as well, or if you want emotions in NPCs, etc. Considering I've never PLAYED Animal Crossing, I may be way off but...yeah.

There will be a plot but the game will not be completely dominated by it , its really more about interaction than anything . Shadowiii , fire away .

the idea was to simulate the goings on at cp in an ohr game, I already have a basic script made up, which is the bare bones for a 365 (or 366) day calender. The idea of this is to add replay value, since a random event script could mean no two games are exactly the same...

Shadowiii your not alone, I haven't played animal crossing either, but then again I haven't even played any of the FF series Neutral

Well in the meantime the castle's construction should be priority, I'll have to draw some graphics for that. Better get on it then.

Animal crossing was never released in europe, for whatever reason Nintendo had... and it is a game.

Ok so I've played animal crossing!!!

it's sorta of a RpG Only you LIVE in it. you earn money to buy stuff by fishing doing chores, working part time etc. with the money you can buy more stuff for your house or buy more additions to your house. You can talk to neighbors (they say differnt stuff every time) make them angry, hit them with shovels, etc. Make tham happy (or H$#*y) by talking to them giving them stuff and sending them "nice" letters (you can also send letters cursing them out). You can collect stuff, furnaure sets, nintendo games, dinosaur fssils,paintings,kinds of fidh,kinds of bugs. Theres more but I think you get the general idea
