I told you, JSH. You're supposed to discover the answers to things on your own. Survival. Shadowiii and RedMaverickZero beat it fine. I don't see them complaining that it's impossible. Why are YOU complaining then?

I already argued with you about this, but I'll say the basic idea here so everyone gets it:

Do not design a game where the player has to reset a thousand times to win. Challenge is fine, but not if I have to replay the game, studying the enemies every time to get anywhere. Nobody in their right mind plays a game like that, and if they do, they probably haven't played many games.

Just a reminder, voting ends today.

I hated them both, I vote for the imaginary game that I wish somebody would've made "Airship 2600". That way neither PacOHR or Dracula get my vote. I urge everyone else to also vote for Airship 2600, especially since it made the most of the contest, it was more fun than either of the other entries without even existing. Think about it, just imagine playing Airship 2600, it's a lot of fun isn't it? Isn't it the most beautiful thing you've ever played? Isn't the gameplay pitch perfect? I think so, so if you think that daydreaming about a made up game is more fun than holding the space bar in Castlevania, and more fun than playing a shitty remake of a classic game, vote for Airship 2600.

My vote goes to Airship 2600. Seriously, both of the other entries were just terrible.

Sew votes for Pac-Man, I vote for TCOD.

While pac-man was the more "fun" of the games (probably because it was over soon and did not rape the user), TCOD at least showed some originalty and effort put behind it. Sadly, it didn't make it the funner one because it abused the user to frustration. Had pac man been the first iteration of pac man, I would have voted for it. But it wasn't.

Pac Man: 5 votes
TCOD: 3 votes
Airship 2600: 2 votes (3 if you count jsh's neither)

Thusly, FyreWulff is the winner of the first "Do More With Less" contest. Congratulations, FyreWulff. *gives him an imaginary trophy*

Gosh, if I knew that just posting a game's title could earn some votes, then I would enter these contests more often.

Oh, and this Airship 2600 thing is amazing.

It's download count is an amazing twentyeightythousandty billion hits. It's so large we had to make up a new number just for it. Its graphics are so pure, clean, it plays like a dream AND repliceates mode 7 in the OHR PERFECTLY.

What's really sad is... Airship 2600 has almost as many (unless you count JSH) as the Dracula game. Hmmm... a "made-up" game rivals a 2 week + game? Wow...

Seeing as I didn't make the game, so I wouldn't be biased, I wonder if CN and IM would let me put up a review for Airship 2600.

My favorite part of the game was when the hero walks in to the bad guy's HQ and says- Oops, I almost spoiled it for you, you'll have to play it yourself to find out what he says!

No Red, Airship 2600 bet TCOD in both quality and votes hands down.

If voting were still on, I would change my vote, which would change the result of the contest to Airship 2600 winning.

Gilbert, since everytime I play Airship 2600 I find myself too stunned by it's brillance to write a review myself, I heartily encourage you to write one.
