You play as Rune. He is a bodieless, mutant, person thing. His entire race of people look about the same. Rune's family was slaughterd by a crazed spawn of himself. The spawn is the pure embodiment of Rune's dark side. The extraction of the spawn,Tectros, caused Rune to go through a painful re-animation of himself, leaving him frail, weak, and leaving his entire self a somewhat pale color.

Rune wishes to either fuse back together with Tectros, or destroy him.

Rune eventually follows Tectros into a dark, unknow deminsion, sending them both to a diffrent universe.

Rune joins forces with a werecat, Furr, and now seek out the mestirious Neo Tek gems. This universe's only means of support from total destruction. They must get to them first, before Tectros, or Tectros will fuse with them, becoming unstopable.
