Description [-]
This was an entry by Harlock and myself to the second annual 48 hour contest. It's a very short game, but has a lot of depth in that every little decision you make effects the outcome (there are 5 endings, some better than others). It's based on one of Harlock's dreams, so it has a surreal quality to it to some extent. It was mostly made by Harlock, but I added a few things like the block system, but didn't get to add as much as I wanted to because I fell asleep. The story was that I was at the time working on 2 48-hour games for the same contest, this one and one with Komera which is unreleased but may show up as an arcade add-on to Wingedmene: Part One.

The game works by a Which-Way system similar to a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book: the choices you make effect the ending, the better choices get you the better endings. The theme is simple to figure out by playing it.

"Bill's "Never Go West" is a fantastically funny OHR game. This game, however, is quite the opposite. Leaving you without any sense of fulfillment at the end, rather, leaving you feeling worse off then when you began, this game is simply not fun. "
