OHR-Date (v. 1.2, June 23th, 2004 (added tags that turn on when you win, which will be used in the upcoming "sequal")

By Shadowiii

The first OHR Dating sim, and the first complete OHR Real-Life Sim, OHR Date takes the OHR to a new...or maybe just different level. Participate in a variety of activities ranging from gonig to school, hanging at the arcade, buying presents for girls, getting a job, and so on. Features a few aspects unique to the OHR engine, which are mentioned below.

Can you woo a girl's heart? Are you sensitive enough, caring enough, and interesting enough to keep the girl interested in you? Will you not mess up on a date? These questions arent' answered, because this is a dating SIM, not real dating, but I'm sure you'll manage at the game. :P

NOTE: Read the included readme for information on how to play. Though instructions ARE provided as part of the game's introduction, the readme is much more in depth.

Stats:
6968 lines of code (.hss file included)
5 Maps
51 imported screens, with about 46 of them being actual cutscenes
885 Text Boxes
Three girls to court
9 Original Songs, with one DDR song, and a secret Sound Test mode
Two cheats

Stuff it features:

Real Life Communication - No NPC will probably say the same thing twice. There are 200 Text boxes for the NPCs, and the text boxes are selected at random every time you speak to them. The advice they give may or may not help you woo a girl.

Detailed Real-Life System: Gain various stats by participating in a variety of activities, including working out, studying, or playing Dance Dance Revolution.

Detailed "Wooing" System - Talk to girls in different locations, including at school, in town, in their hang out point, at home, etc. They also have the random text box attribute (around 200 text boxes a girl), and as the relationship grows, you and she will have more in-depth conversations.

Day/Week Cycle - Go to school on the weekdays. Roam the town freely on weekends. The game features a weekly cycle that allows you to do different things on different days.

Real-Life NPC Spawning - Instead of having NPC's appear the same place every day, tags have been set on both the NPCs and the Girls that position them in different places at random every day. The girl who was out in the park yesterday may be in the arcade today, and so on. Sometimes girls aren't even visitable on a specific day.

Unique Girls: Each girl isnt' just a different picture with same stats. They all have different personallities, different gift preferences, and unique attitutes towards the opposite sex. You'll have to choose which girl is right for you.

"Definitely worth your time. If not for the game, but to see one of the many things the OHR is capable of."
