Winner of the 2002 Magnus Sequel Marathon
Planned "Director's Cuts" and remakes of this project have been cancelled.

Magnus 17 is my second finished game. It was created for the Magnus Sequel Marathon in Spring/Summer 2002.
It follows the story of a young fool named William Stockheim (Willy) who decides that he
can fly, and, to prove it, sets out on a quest to the highest peak on the world,
Mt Yupifatélot. His cousin, the genius historian Michael Van Wilder, has resolved himself to accompany Willy, that he might prevent him from leaping to his doom should he not be able to fly.

Unfortunately for them both, a necromancer and a conjurer have taken some interest in (and inadvertently caused) their plight, and will stop at nothing to fulfill their own mysterious purposes. Of course, there are some things that even Michael could never expect as this zny adventure unfolds.

An odd and comical game, Magnus XVII sports multiple endings and numerous sub-quests. It will leave you both chuckling quietly to yourself and wondering what the heck is going on. It was the beginning of a planned series, which would give a sequel and a prequel, all leading to the end of days as seen through the eyes of the doomed planet Magnus.

Comes complete with three original music tracks, .mid and .bam formats.

"Decent. A Director's Cut will most likely make this game be much better. Get it to see an original story that certainly breaks the mold, even if it does end rather shabby. "
